The Ladder Association is now a signatory to the HSE Pledge. As such, the association undertakes to play its part in reducing the numbers of work-related deaths, injuries and ill-health in Great Britain. In particular, the association is pleased to commit to debunking myths around health and safety that trivialise the impact of injuries, ill health and death on individuals and their families.

Comments chairman of the association, Don Aers: "Ladders and stepladders have been especially susceptible to myths and misconceptions, so the Pledge has particular resonance for the Ladder Association. By engaging with this important HSE initiative we have an additional opportunity to advocate our central message - if it's right to use a ladder, use the right ladder and get trained to use it safely."
