Join the Ladder Association

Founded in 1947, the Ladder Association is the not-for-profit lead industry body dedicated to promoting the safe use of portable ladders.

We currently have over 80 approved Ladder Association members flying the flag for ladder safety in 3 regions across the globe.

Our members include ladder manufacturers, suppliers, training centres, instructors who deliver approved Ladder Association training, and companies of all sizes who want to be part of a growing trade association and keep up-to-date with the latest industry developments.

The Ladder Association harnesses its own expertise, along with that of its member companies, to support technical excellence, safety and best practice in ladder safety across all industry.

Key Benefits

Joining the Ladder Association is not just about putting our logo on your website. It’s about your commitment to ladder safety at all levels; whether you sell, supply or deliver training, our members adhere to our Code of Practice to put safety at the forefront of everything they do. All Ladder Association members are required to make or supply ladders that meet the current product standard.

The Ladder Association represents the interests of the ladder industry on a national and international level, addressing key issues that affect our industry. We work closely with Government and other organisations such as the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS), the British Standards Institution (BSI) and other National Standards Bodies, the Access Industry Forum (AIF) and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
