Ladder Association adds more members to its ranks

The Ladder Association, the trade body representing the ladder industry in the UK and Ireland, has boosted its membership again with the addition of Hire Station, the dedicated tool hire business with 58 core tools branches across the UK.

Part of the Vp Group, it joins a fast growing list of prominent companies keen to identify with the Association’s height safety agenda.

Already a major provider of work at height training, Hire Station is set to become an approved training centre for the delivery of Ladder Association training.

Comments Mark Moody, Director Dot Com: “We are delighted to have joined such a modern, progressive organisation which is clearly making a difference to ladder safety and best practice. We look forward to working more closely with the organisation in the coming months”

Also new to the Ladder Association – a founder member of the Access Industry Forum (AIF) – is leading hygiene specialist Environmental Essentials Ltd; British ladder manufacturer, Titan Ladders, and GL Training (UK) Ltd.

Another recent and important recruit is Clancy Docwra, one of the largest privately owned construction and engineering firms in the country.

“We are thrilled to welcome these organisations into the Ladder Association,” says Marketing and Communications Officer, Gary Chudleigh.

“They will make a significant contribution to the work and role of the association by helping to keep people safe when working at height. It also demonstrates the Ladder Association’s growing reach and influence and the importance that industry attaches to its work.”
