The Ladder Association celebrated our 75th anniversary in style at our 2022 Conference, held on 20 October at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon.

Returning after a 3 year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ladder Conference 2022 saw the biggest turnout to date as members, safety professionals and guests from all sectors joined to celebrate 75 years of ladder safety.

The event was hosted by our Chairman, Gail Hounslea. The main speakers on this year’s agenda included Paul Cook of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Michael Kearney of the Office for Product Safety & Standards, Sara Cartin and Nathan Preston of the Home Builders Federation (HBF), Don Aers – Technical Manager, Ladder Association and Chairman of the BSI B512 ladder standards technical committee, John Darby, General Manager of the Test & Research Centre and Hannah Williams of the No Falls Foundation.

The event also featured an exhibition area featuring some of the latest ladder products from Ladder Association Supplier and Manufacturer members.
