Andrew Robertson has been appointed as the Ladder Association’s new ICT officer. He joins the association from Landcatch – a genetic breeding company specialising in Atlantic salmon – where he was responsible for IT and data support across the UK, Europe and South America.
A graduate in forestry, he joined Landcatch in May 2008 but, because of his passion for IT, soon found himself in the role of data administrator and ultimately head of IT support for the entire company.
A natural with computers, while at Landcatch he took the opportunity to train at the City of Glasgow College to develop his IT knowledge and skills.
He comments: “I am delighted to join the Ladder Association. I look forward to providing a high level of support to everyone involved in the work of the association.”
Andrew will report directly to head of operations, communications and innovation, Maarten de Vries.
